Fourteen years ago, Shield Microfinance Limited opened its doors with a single branch, a small team, and a big conviction: that hardworking Ghanaians deserved a financial partner who actually understood them.

Today, we are proud to serve thousands of customers across the country — traders, teachers, artisans, civil servants, and SME owners — with savings, loans, and advisory services tailored to the realities of life in Ghana.

Along the way we've been licensed and regularly audited by the Bank of Ghana, built a team that genuinely cares, and disbursed loans that have launched businesses, paid school fees, and built family homes.

But the milestone we're most proud of isn't a number. It's the trust our customers have placed in us — coming back year after year, bringing their family and friends with them.
